Business Registration
City Council adopted legislation in 2014 to begin a Business Registration Program. With this legislation, every person engaged in any business or profession within the City of Lancaster limits is required to register the business with the City. The registration program allows the City to have a clear understanding of the businesses and business types operating as well as their locations.
You can download a copy of the business registration form below. A separate registration form is required for each place of business and for each business conducted at one address. There is a business registration fee of $35.00, payable to the City of Lancaster when submitting the business registration form. To submit your Business Registration, sign in to the CityView portal and select Apply for a License. In Step 1, choose Business, then in Step 2, select Business Registration. Follow the prompts to complete and submit your application and pay the required registration fee online through CityView.
