A street opening permit application will be required for the excavation of a street for the construction of installation in any right-of-way.  Anyone applying for a street opening permit must be a bonded contractor with the City of Lancaster.

A traffic control permit will be required if any City street or alley way will need to be closed or access restricted.  A traffic control permit will also be required if a sidewalk should need to be closed for the purpose of construction, etc.
