Phone System Upgrade
As of 12/22/22, new verizon phones should be operating. Thank you very much for your continued patience and cooperation as we navigate the migration of our phone system away from our legacy services to the new platform with Verizon. Voicemail Setup
- Press the envelope button on desk phone
- Select Language
- Select Password
- Select Voice Signature
- Select Greeting to chose one of the following: Personalize or Standard.
Direct Transfer
2 Options:
- Simply press the speed dial button (with or without caller on hold)
OR
- Select transfer button
- Dial extension or number
- Press direct button
Consultative Transfer
- Press transfer button
- Dial extension or number
- Press consult button
- Press transfer (after consulting)
Send Caller Straigt to Voicemail
- Press transfer button
- Dial: **55 + extension
- Press direct
Conferencing Calls
- Place fist call on hold
- Press 2nd extension line
- Place 2nd call
- Press conference button
- Repeat to add additional callers (6 maximum)
Voicemail Forwarding to Email
In addition, for desk phones affiliated with individual users, we have provided email addresses that allow for voicemail messages to be delivered to your email addresses. This is an automatic feature of the Verizon system that requires no setup on your part. As your line becomes active in the Verizon system and voicemail messages are received, you will begin to receive contemporaneous email messages akin to the following:
The voicemail itself will be attached to the email as a .wav file, allowing you to retain or forward the message as you would with any other electronic email attachment. Please note that deleting this email notification does not delete the message from your voicemail box.
