Street Improvement List 2025

Below are the planned street improvement and paving list for 2025. This schedule may change due to weather conditions and other delays. Be mindful of posted signage during construction.

Loop Rd. (Manheim Pk. to Dead End) – Spring
Fremont St. (Hershey Ave. to Charles Rd) – Spring
W. Strawberry St. (King St. to S. Water St.) – Summer
E. Mifflin St. (S. Plum St. to Dead End) – Summer
Clermont St. (Stevens Ave to S. Franklin St.) – Summer
N. Marshall St. (New Holland Ave. to Reynolds Ave.) – Summer
N. Marshall St. (E. Walnut St. to Lehigh Ave.) – Summer
Tennyson Dr. (Buttercup Rd. to Longfellow Dr.) – Fall
Browning Rd. (Longfellow Dr. to Longfellow Dr.) – Fall
N. Plum St/E. Chestnut St. intersection selective mill/overlay repairs – Fall

From 2018 to 2024, the City of Lancaster and contractors have paved 25 miles of streets, about 20% of all city streets. In 2021, the City started paving streets ourselves rather than relying solely on contractors. Since then, we’ve been able to save just over $1 million by doing the work in-house and we’ve been able to pave more streets.
