The City of Lancaster is looking to fill two seats on the Public Art Advisory Board with one regular member and one alternate member.
The City welcomes applicants from a wide range of backgrounds, but should, to the extent possible, demonstrate knowledge in fields related to art and design or who demonstrate an interest in the arts as it relates to civic improvement. Applicants should be residents of Lancaster City or demonstrate an active interest in the arts in the city.
Duties of the Public Art Advisory Board include making recommendations on matters related to artist selections and implementation of public art projects funded or supported by City while also serving as community advocates for public art within the city.
Members are appointed at the discretion of the mayor and city council to serve 2 year terms.
Please send you resume and a statement of interest to Molly Kirchoff, Public Art Program Manager, at email@example.com with the subject “Public Art Advisory Board Volunteer” by Monday, November 27.
